TeeOff Partnership with the National Fitness Foundation
Help kids become more physically fit through activities (like golf!) that get them outside.
During National Physical Fitness and Sports Month, TeeOff is excited to announce our new partnership with the National Fitness Foundation and introduce the new “round-up” campaign to help benefit the organization. Starting May 12, National Golf Day, golfers who book tee times through TeeOff can round up their fee to an even dollar amount, with the additional amount benefitting the National Fitness Foundation’s mission to provide opportunities for youth to play sports and develop the skills to be fit and active.
Participate in the “Round Up” donation campaign.
The National Fitness Foundation (NFF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting programs that encourage kids to get off the couch and into the great outdoors. The Foundation develops corporate partnerships to help expand youth sport participation in America. It is the official charity of the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness & Nutrition.
Today’s kids are not moving enough. Two out of every three kids are inactive every single day. Despite these unfortunate statistics, we know that if children have the ability, confidence and desire to be active by age 12, they are more likely to develop fitness habits that last a lifetime.
Introduce kids to sports and activities (like golf!) that get them outside and get them moving. It starts with helping communities get youth sports programs up and running and helping schools get the PE equipment needed that will keep kids interested and active.
Building confidence while building community
Quality sports programs can help build individual life skills including resilience and teamwork. They can also help build a sense of community—for the athletes and the fans who cheer them on from the sidelines and stands.
Being physically active through organized sports and quality programming can help develop youth both physically and mentally.
